First Day

Today is the first day in our new home. Our journey on this planet so far has consisted of little human companionship, but that changed when we were rescued at an auction and fostered in two very loving families full of love, hugs, and kisses...not only from the other Viszlas in the family, but from our foster parents, too. The world quickly expanded from what we were used to for the past four and half years of our lives. We soon discovered the joys of wrestling with our brothers and sisters, taking walks, lounging on sofas and chairs, and sleeping in with our foster parents in their nice warm beds. Today, we are beginning a new chapter in our lives. We have been reunited and given new names, Zuzu and Tootie. We think they are nice names, but we are still getting used to them. Our two dads are pretty cool, too. We can tell that it's going to be all about us...but we won't push the limits too far, yet. Tootie already enjoys the warm home cooked meals prepared for us, and has even surfed the counters once or twice to be sure there weren't any leftovers. Zuzu is still a little shy and apprehensive, but is slowly building her courage around her new dads.
